Occluded Quartz: Shadow Written in Light
This quartz carries dark threads sealed inside it. Other minerals were caught as the crystal grew and held there forever, like writing in a stone book. Gathered from our island's shore and tumbled smooth by the sea, it holds light and shadow in one clear body.
In crystal tradition included quartz is prized for carrying the gifts of both its stones. Quartz brings clarity and amplification, and the dark inclusions bring grounding and protection. It is held for shadow work: facing what has been hidden, naming it, and keeping it from running the story. It suits a working that closes the door on decay. The darkness is still there, but it's contained, and the light runs through it anyway.
Carry it when you're ready to see the whole truth of something and stay clear anyway.
While not ensouled, the name Al-Wadud, the sacred name of Venus herself, has been written on this stone at the height of the election.
